Hey there, everyone! Sorry for the radio silence lately. Really trying to get my creative juices flowing again (thanks, Pinterest!) amidst teething, middle-of-the-night feedings, dangerous jumping off pillow towers, potty training, dieting, weight loss, house upkeep, unrelenting piles of dishes (the downside of healthy eating)…You know, the mom basics. Just going to pop in for a quick post to update you on a sale I hit up yesterday. Using my trusty Cartwheel app at Target, I got three sweaters for 20% off. My app says the offer expires on Oct. 11. Do you know I’ve saved over $76 in the past three months just by using this app? Crazy.
TOP: Mossimo tunic-y thermal in gray (Like my description? – I cannot find it online!) I gravitate toward darker colors in the fall/winter, so I am trying to buy some lighter colors. Love the roomy fit of this one and am excited to pair it with destroyed denim and over-the-knee boots. Flattering neckline/cross between a scoopneck and a boatneck on me.
Middle: Mossimo Women’s Ultra Soft V-Neck in Gray (I love stripes. I love gray and black. I gravitate toward v-necks in most sweater-buying circumstances.)
BOTTOM: Merona Women’s Crew Neck Pullover Sweater in Black Olive (Camo) I think camo and black pair well together. I am a little confused by Target’s choice of pairing the sweater with the light khaki pant (see link). Anyway, I have a few ideas of how I will style the sweater. And I will be staying away from khaki.
Though I didn’t get this cardigan yesterday, it would qualify for the sale. I like the camel tone in this sweater on me, and I like that it can pair with so much in my wardrobe. I am excited to “toughen” this one up. More on making cardigans interesting soon.
I’m realizing that I like to buy some tops in every season (who doesn’t…), so I’m trying to invest only in pieces I will wear/use for years (jeans, shoes, necklaces, handbags). So three sweaters for under $50? Yes, please!
As if you needed an excuse to go to Target, here’s another. Stock up on your sweaters. Be sure to try them on, as my size varies based on the cut/fit of the sweater. Cannot wait to show you how I will pair them with pieces I already have in my closet (denim vest, black dress, etc…)
Check back in with you soon! I’m so excited the Old Navy is opening in my town tonight, and I may check out the VIP sale this evening. On the hunt for a quilted vest…something I said I’d NEVER wear. More on that soon.
