Casual Saturdays in Jogger Pants with My Baby Girl

Friends, I’m still holding on to the sporty chic vibe that was all the rage last fall. And jogger pants are an important part of several of my sporty chic outfits. These jogger pants from Target (I talked about them in one of my very first posts – read it HERE.) shrink up a bit when washed but are very comfortable and somewhat easy to style beyond a typical lounging look.

On a casual Saturday out, I love the jogger pant, but what I love even more is the pairing of the jogger pant with a jean jacket, as the jean jacket adds some casual polish. Like I said, these joggers that I’m wearing in this post shrink up and are a bit tight (but not like obscene or anything – trust me) in the first wear post-wash but loosen up and morph into a baggier, typical jogger pant as the day goes on and in subsequent wears.
And why not have my daughter try out the trend? (Excuse me as I squeal with delight.) I love that she is staying in her current size for more than a week, and now I can really start styling her for that reason. (Why invest in a ton of clothes for her when she grows out of everything so fast, you know? But now that she’s not growing out of everything super fast, it’s go time. Sorry, Daddy.) When I saw jogger pants in her size at Target, my heart just melted. I am SO excited to have her in today’s post with me! She was so cooperative!
This picture has officially stolen my heart. Love this little budding fashionista.
My topknot disappeared in the sunlight! But chances are, you’re looking at the cute baby instead.
